Program
Lakhi M. Sakhrani M.D., A Medical Corporation sends appointment reminder text messages to patients who have agreed to receive them. Messages tell you the date and time of your upcoming appointment and how to reach our office. We do not send marketing messages.
Reminders are sent in your preferred language: English, Spanish (Español), Chinese (中文) or Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt).
Replying to a reminder
You can reply to a reminder to let us know your plans:
- Reply 1 to confirm your appointment.
- Reply 2 if you need to reschedule. Our staff will call you.
- Reply 3 to cancel your appointment.
You will receive one automatic message confirming we received your reply. For anything else, please call our office.
How you sign up
You agree to receive texts by giving our office your mobile number and checking the text message consent box on our patient intake form, or by telling our front desk staff in person or by phone that you want text reminders. Consent is not a condition of receiving care.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You will usually receive one or two messages per scheduled appointment, plus a short automatic reply if you respond.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP (or ALTO, 停止, DỪNG) to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. To start again, reply START or ask our front desk.
